Welcome to St. James Technology!
My name is Mr. Routhier and this is my third year teaching Technology at St. James. Over the last few years, I have also taught at St. Ambrose in Bridgeport and student taught and interned at a public middle school in Norwalk. I completed two majors and two minors at Eastern Connecticut State University, during which time I studied abroad in Venezuela and at the National University of Ireland in Galway. Further, I completed my Master of Arts in Teaching, CT teaching certification, Educational Technology Certificate Program, and Graduate Internship Program at Sacred Heart University.
I grew up in the Lordship section of Stratford and used to substitute teach at St. James while completing my graduate studies. I enjoy reading, skiing, travel, playing indoor soccer, fishing, and the outdoors in general. I help manage the Newspaper Club and Girls Softball team. I encourage my students to become life-long learners and strive to set an example as such.
